Guided by what the environment offers on the day, this walk is a chance to connect with nature while hearing Dr Heke share his deep knowledge of Aotearoa’s native environment and mātauranga Māori.

Please note that this is an outdoor event on trails within the Dunedin Botanic Gardens. Please wear appropriate footwear for gravel trails and dress for the weather. A moderate level of fitness is required. The event managers will be in touch ahead of the event if the weather is not looking suitable.
