Bring your sense of play, imagination and creativity to this collaborative workshop where you will learn and share knowledge about climate, ocean currents and the impacts the changes on these have on our lives.
This workshop hopes to explore and unpack climate conversations while maintaining a playful and theatrical approach. To do this the Ozone Theatre Company has tools, games and props to facilitate a collective conversation. Topics inlcude exploring the thermodynamics of the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO), changes to the Southern Merdional Overturning Circulation (SMOC) in Antarctica, a New Zealand climate case study, and Model United Nations style conversations to explore international connections and supply chain logistics.
Together as a group and using the props and tools in the room, participants are invited to help build the conversation and add what is important to them. In this way creativity and community is woven through these participatory climate conversations in an effort to build collective resilience and community coordination.
No experience necessary, bring your questions and your artforms and we can build the answers together. Whether you're interested in planetary dynamics, socio-politics, animals or the weather, we invite you to add what is important to you and we can chat it all through together.
