Community Kōrero About Heart Health

Please join us for a panel discussion featuring a mix of community members, researchers and clinicians.

The panel will discuss personal stories of heart health and discuss ways to seek help around common cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension and heart attacks, as well as heart diseases associated with Diabetes.

In this community kōrero, we will also discuss the importance of following prescribed medications and patient care plans, with a special focus on heart health within our Māori and Pacific communities. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

This event is being organised by Manaaki Manawa, the Centre for Heart Research, based at the University of Auckland. Refreshments provided.
